IRAMOT Organizes the 6th International Conference on Management of Technology – ECOSF among the Partners Tehran, Iran

The 6th International and 10th National conference on "Management of Technology" was organized by the Iranian Association for Management of Technology (IRAMOT) at Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI), Tehran-Iran on Dec 07-08, 2016. Theme of the conference was, "Technological Learning and Competitiveness in the Context of International Interactions".  Over 900 International and National participants joined in the conference this year. President ECO Science Foundation (ECOSF) Professor Dr. Manzoor Hussain Soomro also participated as an invited key representative of ECO Science Foundation. The ECOSF was one of the partners and supporters of the conference and sponsored the participants from other ECO member countries.

Chairman of IRAMOT, Dr. Manouchehr Manteghi opened the conference with his welcome note. Further Keynote addresses and panel discussions were held by well renowned names in technological innovation around the developed world and Iran. The biggest team of experts came from Italy and the Ambassador of Italy to Iran also spoke in the opening.

President ECO Science Foundation had good networking and interaction with other scientific community engaged in S&T based entrepreneurship; he particularly had discussions with the Chairman of IRAMOT and the team for future cooperation. Dr. Soomro had interaction with the Technologists from Pakistan and Tajikistan attending the Conference, who were also co-sponsored by ECOSF.  Participation of Dr. Soomro in this conference was strategically important for further collaboration, cooperation and networking of the Foundation with the scientific institutions and innovative research centers in the region especially in Iran.

It is worth mentioning the ECOSF supported the International Conference on Management of Technology by providing travel grants (air tickets) to participants from ECO member states.
