Children & Youth Science Center (CYSC) of China Association for Science & Technology (CAST) in partnership with ECO Science Foundation (ECOSF) and InterAcademy Partnership on Science Education Program (IAP SEP) is organizing “the Belt and Road Teenager Maker Camp & Teacher Workshop” from 17th-22nd December 2017 in Beijing, China. The purpose of this camp and workshop is to strengthen communication and cooperation between China and countries along the One Belt and One Road (OBOR) initiative of China. This would inspire innovation and stimulate interest among young students for promotion of science and creativity in this region. Camp and Workshop will provide an opportunity to strengthen further our cooperation and deliberate on the way forward to achieve the desired goals of “Belt and Road” initiative. It is important to mention ECOSF is supporting the participation of four teams in the camp and workshop from Pakistan, Iran, Turkey and Kazakhstan. The ECO region has a great potential to be harnessed by developing effective collaborative linkages with China to promote scientific & technological research and cultural integration among the 10 member states of ECOSF.
