President ECOSF Meets Dr. Robina Awan, Focal Person for the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme at ECOSF, Islamabad

The President of the ECO Science Foundation (ECOSF), Prof. Seyed Komail Tayebi, held a productive meeting with Dr. Robina Awan, Focal Person for the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme of Pakistan, and her delegation to discuss opportunities for strengthening cooperation in science, technology, innovation, and education for the benefit of youth across the ECO region. During the meeting, Prof. Tayebi presented the vision and mission of ECOSF as an international organization committed to promoting human resource development and advancing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education among the ECO Member States. He highlighted ECOSF’s initiatives to develop innovative capacity-building programmes, strengthen scientific and research institutions, and create greater opportunities for young people through science, technology, innovation, and skills development to support sustainable socio-economic growth and regional prosperity.
Dr. Robina Awan appreciated ECOSF’s valuable contributions to promoting science, technology, and innovation across the ECO region and acknowledged its role in strengthening regional scientific cooperation. She expressed the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme’s interest in exploring collaborative initiatives with ECOSF to empower youth through education, research, innovation, and capacity-building programmes, emphasizing that such partnerships would equip young people with the skills needed to contribute to national and regional development. The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their commitment to enhancing collaboration and pursuing joint initiatives to empower youth, promote scientific excellence, and advance sustainable development across Pakistan and the ECO region.
