The International Muallem Prize held annually by the Borhan Foundation which is a non-profit and public entity, along with sponsors invites the nomination of suitable candidates. The goal of the award is to recognize and honor and value significance of teachers in development of nations and society.

Eligibility Teachers, instructors, and mentors working in the field of education and upbringing of individuals under 18 can be nominated for the Muallem Prize. The audience of this prize includes school teachers, welfare mentors, kindergarten educators, institute instructors, educational mentors of schools or mosques, and in fact, all teaching roles in the public, private, and community sectors.
