The webinar will highlight UNESCO’s work on bioethics and human rights, including the Global Ethics Programme and the Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights. It will also provide an opportunity to discuss emerging ethical issues in science and technology, share experiences and good practices, and explore avenues for regional and South-South cooperation.

The session will bring together policymakers, researchers, universities, scientific and medical institutions, UNESCO Chairs and Centres, ethicists, early-career researchers, development partners and other stakeholders from across the COMSATS and ECO regions.
