Islamabad, July 01, 2026. The President of the ECO Science Foundation (ECOSF) held a productive meeting with the Iran MFA Delegation, accompanied by Mr. Motahari from the Embassy of Iran in Islamabad, to present the vision and mission of ECOSF as an international organization dedicated to promoting Science, Technology and Innovation (STI), human resource development and advancing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education across the ECO region. Drawing on his experience as President, he highlighted ECOSF’s commitment to evaluating existing training facilities, formulating innovative training programmes to develop highly skilled scientific and technical manpower, and designing initiatives to strengthen scientific, engineering, research, and development institutions. He also emphasized the importance of creating greater opportunities for the younger generation, particularly in the fields of STI, and skills development, to equip them with the knowledge and competencies needed to contribute to sustainable socio-economic growth and regional prosperity.
