ECOSF participated in the 2nd Edition of Pakistan’s 2nd Expo on Disaster Risk Reduction (PEDRR 2025) hosted by NDMA

The 2nd Pakistan Expo on Disaster Risk Reduction (PEDRR 2025) hosted by National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), themed “Pakistan’s Resilience Vision 2030,” was launched as a forum to enhance disaster preparedness and foster collaboration. The three-day event showcased innovative solutions with strategic debates, green talks, AI technologies, and artistic displays. It featured over 52 capacity-support showcases by humanitarian organizations, government departments, academia, and industry professionals, alongside demonstrations by armed forces.
Inaugurated at NDMA Headquarters, the event was officiated by Federal Minister for Climate Change Dr. Musadik Malik, NDMA Chairman Lt. Gen. Inam Haider Malik, and Acting UN Resident Coordinator Ms. Coco Ushiyama. Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Memon, Executive Director of ECOSF, and Mr. Khalil Raza, Program Manager for Energy and Climate at ECOSF participated and gained insights from the discussions on resilience and innovative disaster management initiatives. PEDRR 2025 presented Pakistan’s commitment to a sustainable and secure future through meaningful partnerships and collective progress in disaster risk reduction.
