President ECOSF meets H.E. Dr. Hamid Padash, Deputy of the 1st Vice President of Iran for Economic and Infrastructure Coordination

On September 9, 2024, Prof. Seyed Komail Tayebi, President of ECOSF, met with H.E. Dr. Hamid Padash, Deputy of the 1st Vice President of Iran for Economic and Infrastructure Coordination. Prof. Tayebi expressed his sincere appreciation to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran for their continued cooperation and support, particularly acknowledging Dr. Padash’s efforts in promoting Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) within the region.

During the meeting, Prof. Tayebi requested Dr. Padash to continue his valuable support in ensuring the timely reception of Iran’s outstanding mandatory budgetary contribution to ECOSF. In response, H.E. Dr. Padash highlighted the critical role ECOSF plays in building STI capacity across the ECO region. He reaffirmed the Iranian government's commitment to supporting ECOSF’s mission and contributing to the development of regional scientific and technological initiatives.
