ECOSF Staff attends the 6th International Fisheries Symposium and Expo-2017

Dr. Syed Ghazanfar Abbas, Consultant, ECOSF attended the 6th International Fisheries Symposium and Expo-2017 held in Lahore on 8-9 February. ECOSF was one of the many partners joining hands with the University of Veterinary Science (UVAS), Lahore for organizing this International Symposium. An Expo exhibition was also arranged where stalls by government as well as private sector companies had put their stalls ranging from fish feed, hatchery, and other miscellaneous products. Foreign delegates from Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Thailand, Turkey, UK, and the USA attended this event. Around 26 technical presentations in two groups, beside 56 posters were displayed on day-1. On day-2, another 36 technical presentations were delivered. Dr. Ghazanfar shared his views and described ECOSF role and also presented a brief introduction of AppIdea2R in the concluding session of the event.
Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha, S.I. appreciated the role of private as well as of International agencies such as ECOSF in supporting activities that involve promotion of scientific knowledge towards our youth.
In recognition of ECOSF role in helping to disseminate and improving science culture in youth, a shield was presented for the President, ECOSF.
