Visit to Academic Center for Culture and Research (ACECR) in Tehran

On September 30, 2024, Prof. Seyed Komail Tayebi, President of ECOSF, visited the Academic Center for Culture and Research (ACECR) in Tehran. During the visit, Prof. Tayebi met with Dr. Yaqub Fathollahi, Vice President of Research and Technology at ACECR, and Engr. Mahmood Pourbaferani, Director General of the Scientific Collaborations and International Affairs Office of ACECR. The meeting aimed to explore potential collaborations and enhance cooperation between ECOSF and ACECR in various scientific and technological fields.

Dr. Fathollahi welcomed Prof. Tayebi and provided an overview of ACECR’s wide-ranging capabilities, covering sectors such as technical engineering, medicine and health, agriculture and food industries, as well as educational and cultural fields.

In response, Prof. Tayebi expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and commended ACECR’s impressive contributions to scientific and technological progress. He introduced ECOSF and outlined the Foundation’s role in facilitating the creation of scientific, research, and technological capacities across the ECO region. Prof. Tayebi also proposed several avenues for collaboration, including the possibility of organizing joint webinars on various applications of science and technology, as well as participating in international educational programs with the cooperation of Chinese institutions.
