Iran minister visit PSF

An Iranian delegation paid a visit to Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) head offices here in Islamabad on April 17, 2012.

The honorable delegates were in Pakistan to participate in the 2nd Commission Meeting of COMSATS.

The Iranian delegation comprised Iranian Deputy Minister for Science Research and Technology Dr. Ahmed Akbari, Director Shiraz Technology Park Dr. Syed Ahmed Fazalzadieh. Mr. Seyed Ali Salehpour, Counsellor Embassy of Iran was accompanied the delegation.

PSF Chairman and Economic Cooperation Organization Science Foundation (ECOSF) Founder President-Designate Prof. Dr. Manzoor H. Soomro received the guests at PSF. PSF Member Science Dr. Khalil Ibupoto, Joint Scientific Advisor Mr. Amjad Hussain, Ministry of Science & Technology and PSF Chief Scientific Officer Ms. Farhat Rajpar were also present on this occasion.

The Iranian Minister and the PSF Chairman discussed areas of mutual cooperation and joint projects to promote scientific research activities under the newly established ECO Science Foundation. The PSF Chairman also presented a souvenir to Iranian Minister.
