President ECOSF meets Dr. Mohammad Omidifard, Head of the Office of Iran Presidential International Agreements

On September 24, 2024, Prof. Seyed Komail Tayebi, President of ECOSF, held a meeting with Dr. Mohammad Omidifard, Head of the Office of Iran Presidential International Agreements to discuss financial and institutional matters related to Iran. 

During the meeting, Prof. Tayebi provided a briefing on ECOSF’s activities, highlighting the Foundation's ongoing contributions to promoting Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) across the ECO region. He emphasized the critical role that Iran plays as a leading member country and the importance of continued financial and strategic support from the Iranian government to sustain ECOSF’s regional programs.

A significant focus of the meeting was the much needed support from the Iranian Presidential Office, particularly in fulfilling Iran’s financial Mandatory Budgetary Contribution to ECOSF. Dr. Omidifard acknowledged the importance of ECOSF’s work and its impact on regional development. He assured Prof. Tayebi that the Iranian government recognizes the value of ECOSF’s initiatives and will work towards continued growth and success of the Foundation.
