ECOSF Delegation Visited Yufa Town and Explored Business Opportunities in Beijing's Airport Daxing Economic Zone

The Economic Cooperation Organization Science Foundation (ECOSF) delegation, led by Engr. Khalil Raza, Programme Manager Energy and Climate, embarked on a significant visit to Beijing's Daxing Economic Zone on April 27, 2024. The visit, part of a broader agenda that included a Training Workshop on China's New Energy Vehicles hosted by the National New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Center (NEVC), aimed to explore investment and business opportunities in the thriving economic landscape of Daxing.
The delegation's first stop was Yufa Town, where they visited the Agro-innovation Industrial Park. This excursion provided valuable insights into sustainable agricultural practices, including a firsthand view of the agri-photovoltaic facility used for growing agricultural produce.
Upon their arrival, the ECOSF delegation was warmly received by Mr. Zhao Chuanfu, Party Secretary of the Daxing Economic Zone, and Mr. Cui Chunlei, Deputy Head of Yufa Town. During the discussions, Mr. Zhao Chuanfu extended invitations to ECO Member Countries to consider establishing businesses in the Daxing Economic Zones, highlighting the region's investment potential and favorable business environment.
Mr. Khalil Raza, representing ECOSF’s delegation, expressed keen interest in fostering strong business partnerships between the ECO Member Countries and the Daxing Economic Zone. He emphasized the importance of collaboration in driving sustainable economic growth and development in the region.
The visit was made possible through the facilitation of Dr. Di Yuna, Director of the BTBU-ECOSF Joint Training Center and Executive Director of the Pakistan Study Center at Beijing Technology and Business University (BTBU). Dr. Di Yuna's continuous support and efforts were instrumental in organizing this insightful exchange.
The ECOSF delegation's engagement in Beijing's Daxing Economic Zone signifies a commitment to exploring new avenues of cooperation and investment and strengthening ties between ECO Member Countries and China's dynamic economic landscape.
